Description:
Seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mid-Level System Administrator to join our team. System Administrator experience with Windows Server Administration – knowledge of Windows Server Architecture, Installation, Services settings and configuration, and patching (looking for both Windows/Linux but can be stronger in one than the other).
Role/Responsibilities:
- Experience providing Tier 2 or 3 support in an enterprise level, globally distributed environment
- Install and configure Windows operating systems to include Server 2008 R2, Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2019, and Windows 10 in virtual and physical environment's
- Configure server and workstation hardware as necessary according to system requirements and install and configure required applications via SCCM Environment
- Utilize Microsoft SCCM 2012 to apply Microsoft security patches to Windows servers and workstations
- Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory to include: Granting privileged Access, Configuring Active Directory Services (ADDS), Group Policy, Objects, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), File Sharing services, Active roles Server (ARS). Intermediate level PowerShell scripting
- Intermediate level PowerShell scripting
- Active Directory and Group Policy (understanding of OU structures and creating policies)
- Experience on Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) Patching. Understanding of VMware and Networking

- Ideal candidate is also a quick learner; must be able to adapt to quickly evolving technology and priority changes
- Ability to work on individual tasks, as well as team-oriented tasks and ability to prioritize competing priorities
Education & Related Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with 10 or more years related professional experience in a technical field. 5 years of additional experience in lieu of degree; Certifications specific to applications and job functions strongly desired and supported.
- One of the following DoD approved certifications: Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP+ CE, GCIH, GCED, CCNP Security, CySA+, or GICSP
