Halvik is seeking Microsoft Windows Server Administrators for a full time opportunity in McLean, VA. Requirements: 4+ years recent experience as a Microsoft Windows Server administrator (Server 2016, Server 2019, or newer), performing work described in CLIN 0005. Education may not be substituted for experience.

• Experience installing, administering, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting, and improving Windows Server environments
• Experience with creating and managing snapshot policies
• Experience with configuring and scheduling automated backups
• Experience with performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization of Windows environments
• Experience with disaster recovery and high availability
• Proficiency with writing PowerShell scripts
• Knowledge of Active Directory
• Knowledge of networking including IP addressing, subnetting, TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS
• Experience working in regulated government environments
