Job Overview: The Manager of Selling Effectiveness is responsible for supporting the stores organization in their effort to drive a Professional Omnichannel Service and Selling Culture. The role focuses on providing the necessary strategy, tactics, education and communication to maximize service, selling and clienteling skills and initiatives
Essential Functions:
- Works in collaboration with central partners to deliver a holistic approach to selling and clienteling programs (compensation, staffing, technology, process planning, human resources, and education).
- Develops materials required to communicate service, selling and clienteling strategy and to support the execution of the strategy. Continually reviews and modifies existing selling tools and training modules to achieve consistency, relevancy and simplification.
- Owns the development of the omnichannel outreach strategy including b-connected galleys and digital selling corporate tasks. Provides qualitative and quantitative insight into the customer database and by working with the Central partners to understand scope of event.
- Is consistently knowledgeable about statistical performance relative to service and clienteling and proactively seeks customer feedback about their experience with Sales Professionals and MCCS agents to inform strategy development. Provides relevant analysis and reporting to inform decision-making and chart progress.
- Communicates opportunities to central team and leverages central partners to build strategy to address and maximize opportunities.
- Is the point person for stores, central and MCCS for questions, direction and education material about service, selling, clienteling and the b-connected system.
- Participates in the preparation and execution of all Omnichannel selling initiatives.
- Collaborates with Education department and other central areas to ensure that training and communication materials across pyramids deliver a consistent Selling Effective message. Decides how to evolve materials to deliver a cohesive expectation.
- Collaborates with central partners to provide product education for in-store colleagues to sell more effectively
- Maintains the SharePoint pages to ensure it is a consistently reliable and creditable resource.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
- 3-5 years related experience
- Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
Physical Requirements:
- Requires periods of walking, standing, communicating, reaching, crouching and climbing ladders
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
