Drug screen, extensive background check, and fingerprinting are required Competitive salary's ranging from $47,840 to $71,760 ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: This is a senior level professional counseling position with an M.A. degree plus two years’ experience and an additional two years of supervisory or program management or maintain clinical licensure for the appropriate state in which work is performed. Difficult cases and crisis management are emphasized. Provides clinical oversight. May review work of others and/or supervision of others. Provides a variety of case management, skills training, support services, group and individual counseling as required for persons with Developmental Disabilities, Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, and Chemical Dependency as needed for the level of the position.
Carries out a wide variety of case management duties as assigned. Provide assessments, make referrals, individual and group counseling; education and support for clients and families. Screen for eligibility, conduct comprehensive evaluations resulting in a DSM V diagnosis. Develop diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans for clients including delivery of appropriate services as defined by a detailed treatment plan. May provide consultation for chemical dependency problems, education and training for other program staff and community agencies and groups. May provide clinical review of work by other clinicians or subcontracted programs. Can act as program coordinator; design program services and coordinate activities with assigned staff.
