Key Role: Assist the meetings and special events manager in the planning and execution of logistics for on-site and off-site meetings, program reviews, workshops, and other events for highly scientific/technical participants. Build and manage registration Websites and provide regular updates. Assist with site selection, vendor contracting, sleeping room block coordination, food and beverage planning, audiovisual specifications, and other associated support services. Assist with invoice reconciliation and preparing reports on activities costs. Manage federal travel booking and reimbursement for invited speakers and other meeting VIPs. Provide back-up support to front office team as needed. This position is located in Washington, DC but may include travel to other CONUS locations as needed to support offsite meetings and events.
