Medical Records Clerk

Program Name: West Salem Clinic | 1233 Edgewater St NW
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

YOUR ROLE at NWHS:
As our friendly, efficient, and professional Medical Records Clerk, you will maintain timely and HIPAA compliant completion of patient medical records in the Electronic Health Records System. This position ensures timely receipt of outside medical records, and assigns received documents to the correct medical provider. Additionally, the Medical Records Clerk is responsible for reviewing and scanning completed health information (lab results, diagnostic testing, and other correspondence) into the patient records to facilitate continuity of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Our ideal candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently, responsibly and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and handle medical records in a confidential manner.
