Overview: AMG Orthopedics part of Atlantic Health System, is currently seeking Medical Office Associate I in Paramus, NJ.Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

  • The Medical Office Associate I will manage phones, greet patients, schedule appointments, enter demographic & patient information, verify insurance coverage, accurately complete necessary forms, collect co-pays, balance cash, maintain schedule in EMR system, process precerts/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases, and other duties typical of a physician practice.
Qualifications:Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Prior administrative experience in a physician practice strongly preferred
  • Computer literacy essential
  • Working knowledge of computerized scheduling and EMR system desired
  • Strong customer service skills a must
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physicians schedules
