Twin Boro Physical Therapy is seeking a dynamic individual that wants to exert their time management and organizational skills to help grow our Westwood location of a vastly growing health services company. As the Medical Office Representative, you should be able to use the aforementioned skills, coupled with a personable and compassionate personality, to provide timely services to patients while managing the day to day operations of the clinic. Responsibilities · Assist with daily operations of the practice while maintaining a professional and friendly environment · Schedule and coordinate patient appointments based upon plan of care, patient satisfaction, and clinic efficiency · Maintains office policies, procedures, and daily work flow · Scan all necessary documents and patient paperwork · Patient benefit and eligibility verification · Request for authorization and reauthorization for Commercial, Work Comp, and MVA patients utilizing the appropriate supporting documents · Daily follow up on authorization requests including reports for authorization compliance · Answer phones and work with patient and therapist on necessary elements of patient care · Liaise with doctors, nurses and insurance companies · Generate inventory records · Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards Skills · Proven work experience of duties medical office manager performs · Knowledge of data and administrative processes and principles · Excellent organizational and time-management skills · Ability to multi-task and perform well in possibly stressful situations · Communication skills and a customer service orientation · Microsoft Office Knowledge · Flexibility Job Type: Part-time Schedule: Education: Experience: Work Location: One location
