PRN/Supplemental - Rotating Shift (6am - 4:30pm)

Job Summary:

Obtains adequate and correct blood specimens by skin puncture or venipuncture using proper technique and equipment within the established hospital procedure on adults and children, inpatient and outpatients. Responsible for all paperwork related to charting all completed reports on inpatients and outpatients. Responsible for registering all courier work.

What You Need to Be Successful:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy Certification by a nationally accredited agency strongly preferred.
  • Three months recent clinical phlebotomy or laboratory assistant experience preferred, but will consider new graduate from a phlebotomy program.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
