The Program Assistant / Medical Office Assistant / Medical Office Specialist provides support for the solid organ transplant team. The Assistant will oversee patient scheduling, transfers, and medical records.
  • Office liaison for patients, staff and physicians
  • Patient scheduling
  • Triage and process messages from patients
  • Point of Care testing
  • Patients transfers within facility
  • Follows through on patients’ needs through coordination of services
  • Collects and provides data entry consistent with established quality and integrity standards
  • Supports medical record integrity
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Minimum of two years of clerical or medical office experience required.
