Medical Authorization Specialist:

Founded in 2012, Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a private practice group of board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons who focus on individualized care of their patients.

We are looking for a candidate who has some experience with Medical Authorization for busy Medical Office. The candidate would be responsible for obtaining authorization from the order of the physician or physical therapist. We are looking to hire someone with experience doing authorizations online. We are looking for someone who is dependable, and able to multi-task to fill this position.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ Experience at a healthcare facility performing medical authorizations
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
• Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14-16 per hour
