Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant and/or Front Desk Medical Receptionist for busy private practice. Qualities we are looking for are professional, proactive, detail-oriented & multi-tasker.

Everyday tasks below:

1. Greeting patients upon arrival. Verifying insurance, collecting balances & co-pays.

2. Scheduling both clinic appointments & outside appointments for imaging or specialist referrals.

3. Professional telephone etiquette. (taking detailed telephone messages is a must)

4. Light filing, scanning & chart prep.

5. Ensuring our patients privacy. HIPAA compliant.

6. Computer savvy. Looking for a quick learner to master our EHR. We use eClinicalworks.

7. Cleaning/Sanitizing of exam rooms, restocking & preparing for next patient. COVID 19-safe.

8. Comfortable with taking vital signs, history, medication reconciliation & performing EKGs.

9. You will be cross-trained if the need for sick or vacation coverage arises. (front and back office)

10. Have the ability to learn our most common procedures/medications.

This is to better educate our patients to ensure understanding of their medical treatment/path. Medical terminology a must.

11. Work ethic is Most Important. Conscience about being on time & being 'present' while at work.

12. We have 3 locations, you may have to travel within the county if needed. At least 1x week.

This can be a PT or FT position.

PT is Tue-Fri 9am to 3pm- perfect while kids are in school.

FT is Mon-Fri 830-5pm-

Benefits after the standard 90 day probationary period. Medical, paid sick-time, paid vacation (once accrued) and a 401k plan after 1yr.

Current CPR/BLS certification

Current Certified Medical Assistant with at least 2 years experience preferred.
