AN OVERVIEW:The Materials Coordinator has responsibility for the consistent and even flow of construction and activity materials used in Kaleidoscope’s studio. Kaleidoscope’s success is in great part evaluated by the activities and art materials provided to the children who participate and by Kaleidoscope’s unique appearance. If there were to be a gap or inadequacy in materials availability or quality, Kaleidoscope and Hallmark’s image would suffer significantly. The Materials Coordinator works with other staff members to evaluate which projects need to be die-cut on the press. It is then their responsibility to select the proper paper, cut that paper to size, prepare the die-cut press for production, and then operate the press to cut the shapes. Like all Kaleidoscope/HVC employees, the Materials Coordinator is actively engaged with peers in welcoming guests and maintaining the attractions, including Saturday and holiday work. This position reports to the Kaleidoscope Experience Supervisor.
