Sentient Energy in Santa Clara, CA is looking for a detailed oriented, self-motivated Material Planner to manage the company’s day-to-day inventory activities to ensure that all material control and fulfillment needs are met. We’re looking for an individual who is self-sufficient, dependable, cool under pressure and eager to learn with a professional, supportive attitude. What You Will Do In Your Role
Inventory Control
- Perform ERP inventory transactions
- Perform ongoing cycle count and reconciliation
- Report and document inventory discrepancies and required adjustments
- Research, trace and match physical inventory and perform inventory adjustments
- Organize and maintain a small warehouse
Shipping
- Perform inbound and outbound shipping transactions and create required documentation
- Process International shipments
- Contact carrier for pick-up and manage delivery schedules for both inbound and outbound
- Perform basic research, confirmation and follow-up of products shipped
Receiving
- Receive and transact products and perform basic research on receiving discrepancies
- Work with purchasing and accounts payable to close procure to pay gaps
- Contact suppliers for returns and repairs and process RTVs
The Experience You Will BringRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of related shipping and receiving experience
- Familiarity with ERP processes and practices
What Will Put You Ahead- Bachelor's Degree
- Inventory control experience
- NetSuite ERP experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
