The Master Planner-Scheduler is responsible for making planning and scheduling decisions for the Fairburn Manufacturing Facility. Key performance indicators include internal schedule attainment, customer on-time delivery, and lead time reduction through the implementation of productivity and efficiency gains attained with comprehensive planning and scheduling. Review incoming sales orders and determine appropriate confirmation dates based on raw material availability, manufacturing capacity, and revenue targets. Follows up with the procurement team to verify actual inventory levels, purchase orders and production orders to prevent failures in meeting schedules. Assists with the development of criterion for setting safety and reorder levels for inventories. Develop a system that will allow the organization to develop safety stock levels on high-volume products. Lead routine reviews of production schedules with production personnel to ensure clear communication of delivery requirements. Identify, communicate and coordinate schedule changes due to material, operational or inventory challenges. Recommend plans for alternative production schedules to include identifying constraints, alternative solutions and recovery plans.
