Position Summary
The Marketing Project Manager embraces a consultative approach and customer focus to the marketing process and will work with the Marketing Leader to serve internal customers of the marketing team. Key activities include gathering project requirements; you are adept at utilizing communication and marketing skills to gain an understanding of goals, project management, and working with both internal and external marketing resources to bring solutions to the day-to-day needs of the business and functional areas. You are a driven, results-oriented performer that relishes the challenges that come with leading concurrent, time-sensitive, and highly visible projects.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Organize, sequence, and track all needed actions to meet/exceed expectations of the internal customer by executing the needed marketing tactic(s), developing options when appropriate, and presenting the potential outcome to key stakeholders for review.
- Oversee critical components such as recurring marketing campaigns, shows/series, and member-exclusive newsletter and related newsletters for non-members, as well as those opting out of email distribution.
- Communicate with internal customers to define the project, requirements, resources needed, and deadlines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. At times, this focus may require a demanding work schedule, being “on-call” beyond regular business hours for time-sensitive projects.
- Work closely with the Branding Marketing team and designated external resources to gain the needed support, input, and output needed for overall team success.
- Maintain strong communication and clarity with stakeholders.
- Maintain and guide the development of programs and projects to adhere to our brand standards for our primary brand and sub-brands.
- Provide marketing input where needed and act as the gatekeeper for collateral standards within the framework of assigned customer projects.
- Kick-off new programs and projects, working with all participating team members to ensure comprehension of customer requirements to avoid re-work and ensure best effort performance by all involved.
- Act and communicate to inspire team members to produce tactics that bring awareness, interest, and action among the target market(s) and intended audience(s), while ensuring we reinforce the trust, credibility, confidence of associating with our brand.
- Communicate resource availability and project needs to leadership regularly.
Here’s What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of project management/marketing traffic experience and an understanding of methodologies through a combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in progressive marketing roles. Professional services industry preferred.
- Exceptional communicator (verbal/written) with the ability to listen, learn and communicate with all functional internal customers and internal and external resources.
- Able to translate business, marketing, and sales needs into understandable marketing language; knowing which actions are needed to exceed customer expectations while supporting functional areas and the overall business.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills; able to sequence work tasks to gain maximum outcome and performance.
- Able to keep track of tasks/deliverables in the written project plan.
- Experience with marketing tactics, collateral, video/photo production, email platforms, social channels including Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Strong computer skills including MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Project Management software a plus; quick to learn new apps
- Ability to work independently on an assignment as well as collaboratively, as a member of the Brand Marketing team and broader company team.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
