Marketing Coordinator - Office of the President Details

Within the Office of the President this position is responsible for developing and executing a variety of communications to meet the needs of multiple audiences through interaction with clients and management at all levels of the organization; drafting, editing and supervising the production of communications to be distributed to a variety of audiences. Support and facilitate communication strategies, health education, programs and services to drive participation across customized health management strategies with the end goal of fostering a culture of health and wellness. Professional demeanor in meeting with executives, client representatives, vendors, and members. Ability to navigate through ambiguity and rapidly shifting deadlines with a sense of urgency. Assist with annual enrollments and support account management team. Gather data and produce reports.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience communicating corporate, public or community health education programs or messaging.
  • Knowledge of the health and wellness marketplace and employer trends.
  • Verbal and written communication skills including composing and conducting presentations, as well as, composing corporate communications.
  • Organization and time management skills, along with the ability to work with minimum supervision both independently and in a group setting.
  • Analytical experience and skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to travel including overnight stays.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications or Marketing and 3 years corporate communications experience including copy development, editing, marketing, public relations, or media relations OR 6 years corporate communications experience.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and short timelines; ability to handle multiple projects with shifting deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders with confidence. Adept and comfortable at influencing the decision-making process.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information; adept at handling situations with political appropriateness and sensitivity while influencing positive outcomes.
  • Willingness to work overtime to meet client requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and edit an array of communications materials for internal/external audiences.
  • Strong organizational, project management and consulting skills
