Basic Function HF Sinclair is seeking a Marine Scheduler to be based at the headquarters in Dallas, TX. This role is the main liaison between assigned vessels, chartering department, vessel agent and Company customers. This role is responsible for managing ship operations to ensure safe and efficient operations, and manages all aspects of operations for vessels with the intention of facilitating proper cargo stowage, scheduling integrity, reliability, fuel performance, environmental and safety goals with minimal guidance. Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion. A minimum of five (5) years’ applicable experience is required. Applicable required experience includes a combination of: marine operations for vessels, management of ship operations, vessel scheduling, and data analysis experience. Professional work experience in tankship operations or onboard vessels is required. Experience in demurrage claims, cargo stowage facilitation, vetting and bunker procurement. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. Extensive knowledge of Veson IMOS voyage management system and vetting knowledge, preferred. Office based with up to 20% travel by land and air may be required and subject to all weather and varying conditions.
