Functional Description
: Support Individual Contributor

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

  • Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.

  • Applies acquired job and company knowledge of policies and procedures to complete semi-routine tasks.


Scope:

  • Work at this level requires following standardized methods and under immediate supervision on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.

  • Follows pre-established guidelines and procedures with minimal choice as to method of performance of the work.

  • Has contact with employees at other levels within the company. Information exchanged is generally non-complex.


Judgement:

  • Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.

  • Works under close supervision.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of administrative and clerical support tasks for the execution of Experimental Requests (ERs) in the Pilot department.

  • Complete and review associated documents for accuracy.

  • Compile and report yield and rejection data on a regular basis.

  • Maintain product traceability.

  • Provide clear and concise feedback to supervisor, leads and engineering teams regarding problems, potential issues, and trends with GDP/GMP errors as well as opportunities for improvement.

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of inventory counts, records, and reports using Excel or other Enterprise software.

  • Provide clear and concise feedback to supervisor, leads and engineering teams regarding problems, potential issues with materials as well as opportunities improvement.

  • Conducts material transactions in Oracle and Camstar or submits material request forms as needed.

  • Sustains Work Order maintenance or performs regular reviews of LHRs and associated documents.

  • Performs word processing, or typing to prepare correspondence, reports, statistical data and other forms.

  • Prepares schedules, charts, graphs, or tables and presents to Engineering and Management.

  • May act as liaison between departments for coordinating R&D, Engineering, and experimental builds; responsible for filing and data archiving of these builds.

  • Conducts regular audits of manufacturing documents to ensure up-to-date versions and records are kept according to Agile.

  • May conduct training and time studies of manufacturing/experimental processes.

  • Expert knowledge of Agile and Camstar.

  • Follow and enforce GMP guidelines.

  • Follow all safety guidelines.

  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.


Workplace Type:

  • The Workplace Type for this role is Non Desk. Based on the nature of your position you will be working onsite in your assigned work area. You will have space onsite for your personal items, but will not have an assigned desk. You should plan to be onsite based on your current shift schedule.


Language Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
