Position Purpose:

Under general direction, this role is responsible for reporting, financial insight and decision-making support to the Sales & Marketing management team through detailed analysis and reporting of customer data. This position is also responsible for the development of SQL reports and coordinating day-to-day/monthly reporting and analysis requests which are critical. In addition, this individual will conduct research via data mining to identify opportunities for improvement in reporting, profitability, customer satisfaction, etc. and recommend solutions.

Key Job Activities:

1) Performs in-depth, quantitative and qualitative analysis of customer data to identify trends, measure performance, and improve our understanding of the business. Proposes new technical enhancements or efficiencies that coincide with and fully support the overall business. Assists in efforts to increase reporting efficiency and effectiveness, including documenting deliverables, project plan and communication. Train team members on reporting tools.
2) Prepares and presents monthly reporting of key performance indicators in a user friendly format for Sales & Marketing leadership team. Develops and maintains the reporting software within an SQL Server environment. Manages proper documentation of all coding changes and policy changes.
3) Performs and may present pricing and profitability analyses for business. Identifies quality improvement initiatives by conducting scheduled meetings, and communicating with both business leaders and stakeholders to identify business challenges and improve sales performance and customer satisfaction. Converts business ideas into action items and timelines for development.
4) Assists Salesforce development team in creating technical solutions, tools, views and dashboards (including business requirements gathering for and day-to-day management of Salesforce projects).
5) Works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Operations to prepare and present sales operations data for strategic project management initiatives.
