POSITION OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Manage the full Brand Ambassador and field marketing program at 80 Acres, including executing brand outreach and sampling events. Act as a coach, mentor, and sounding board for staff, keep them informed of new information through regular meetings, and be the voice of the Brand Ambassadors to the 80 Acres management team.
- Manage and oversee team activities in each market to execute programs with success, adjusting, correcting course and problem-solving in-process. Activities include: Sampling events at grocery stores; participation in local markets or other events (e.g., with 80 Acres Veggie Vans and sampling/ vendor booths).
- Build and lead training programs for Brand Ambassadors and field team members. Support our Brand Ambassador Supervisors through the onboarding and initial training process of all new employees.
- Manage team in their approach and efforts with local restaurants, influencers in market
- Outline the most effective approach to Brand Ambassador and field events; oversee analytics and insights informing the approach by market (e.g., what type of events or stores are most impactful, prioritization of types of events, etc.)
- Support a culture of thoughtful risk, attention to detail and bias to action in a “customer-centric” manner.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure store level merchandising and product inventory reflects brand value proposition, our quality, and benefits to the consumer at every engagement of the Brand Ambassadors.
- Manage your team of direct reports, resources, scheduling of events, and budgets to deliver brand growth and support expanded retail distribution. Support the hiring of team members. Ability to travel to nearby cities for team training and to build brand awareness.
- Directly or indirectly, manage the merchandising and Brand ambassador activities at top retail accounts
- Coordinate brand promotion through community involvement by working with market BA Teams and Supervisors to review involvement opportunities and training team members on how to be a successful brand ambassador in those engagements.
- Monitor customer, end-user, market, and competitor activity; provide feedback and documented reporting and metrics to your supervisor as directed.
- Hands-on involvement in project execution and retail customer interaction as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience and success as a manager, project manager, or team leader in a retail, manufacturing, CPG, beverage, grocery retailer, or other relevant organization.
- Demonstrated experience and passion for the customer and the environment.
- Experience executing a brand, organization, product, or marketing event(s)
- Successful managing small teams with diverse skill sets.
- Successful managing intracompany relationships and cross-functional teams, a high influencer.
- Possess high initiative and be self-motivated, be able to multi-task, be comfortable meeting and exceeding deadlines, and have strong project management skills.
