Here’s to the world ahead.Responsible for managing and leading a Client Financial Services team that handles compensation service offerings including detailed international cost estimates, full compensation collection and tax provider reporting, tax payment management, tax equalization administration and payroll service offerings. Manage end to end new client implementation, drive special project and system utilization, assist in product development and departmental growth initiatives.
Required Skills
PRINCIPAL/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates, manages and directs the departmental processes, activities and outcomes for Client Financial Services in area of competence. This includes but is not limited to, monitoring internal controls, adherence to established processes and performance metrics. Demonstrates and a clear understanding of the objectives, processes and issue resolution processes of the work area.
- Handles higher profile, or more complex related deliverables until proper process, training and staffing are in place to hand off.
- Manages or assist with the resolution of escalations from Transferees, Clients, Client Development, operations and others to insure issues are resolved timely and completely. Uses escalations as appropriate for additional staff training or to improve processes.
- Participate in client discussions to ascertain compensation needs and provide consultative solutions. Manage complete implementation based on outcome of those discussions. Document and organize client specific processes and reporting requirements. Configure GlobalPro application to accommodate client wage codes, balance sheet templates, and primary/secondary payroll reporting.
- Performs other related essential duties as assigned or requested.
Required Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree required in Accounting, Business Management or other relevent area, or equivalent related experience.
Knowledge/Experience: 7-10 years of comp, tax, or payroll experience required. Prior supervisory experience is required.
Licences/Certifications/Specialized Training: Demonstrated skills working with Equus products. Proficient with Windows and Office Applications.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent accounting skills in order to understand and use General Accepted Accounting Principles
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents, professional journals and governmental regulations. Ability to write complex reports, detailed business correspondence, policies and procedures. Ability to give effective presentations to management and large groups.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
