Ready to help re-write the rules of modern advertising?Roku is changing how the world watches TV

Roku is the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S., and we've set our sights on powering every television in the world. Roku pioneered streaming to the TV. Our mission is to be the TV streaming platform that connects the entire TV ecosystem. About the role

The world is cutting the cord and streaming its TV online, a shift that has dramatically changed how advertisers target, reach and measure their preferred audiences in ways that broadcast TV and cable never could. In this new world, Roku has re-written the rules of modern advertising and to continue to drive forward we need someone to help manage our Client Services team focused on Performance advertisers. As part of the performance ad sales team, you will be a critical partner in both supporting Roku sales and working externally with clients, while creating & driving process and execution cross-functionally with internal teams. This role will differ from a conventional management position, in that you will need to not only manage a team of individual contributors and keep them in close alignment, but also need to possess the operational savvy to collaborate with key stakeholders and drive change.

Being a Manager on the Client Services team at Roku requires a unique blend of both hands-on knowledge at the individual contributor level as well as leadership experience. The ideal candidate will be able to choreograph the day-to-day motions of the contributors under their purview, ensuring that the team maintains a high standard of operational excellence while fulfilling on paid media campaigns. In parallel, as a Manager you will need to not only exhibit problem-solving behavior – identifying challenges and gaps, collaborating to solve against them – but problem-finding behavior. In order for our business to continue to succeed, the Manager of Client Services will need to be attuned to both our broader strategic objectives for performance advertisers as well as the reality of how that strategy is playing out at the campaign level. Identifying areas where progress towards our goals is being hampered and working to address the root causes will be a key responsibility for this role.

The Roku culture

Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. We believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We're independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.

We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
