Under general supervisor/procedural control, this position exists to organize, analyze, interpret and communicate financial, academic, and human resources data into useful information to be used for decision-making by finance leaders including but not limited to: the University President, the President’s senior management team, Board of Trustees, Legislature, and other groups which may have major policy implications with short and long-range impact. Develop, design, and maintain database queries, tables, report formats, documentation, and data integrity practices to be used for consistent reporting within the University and across other colleges and universities in the State System. Train and assist users of financial information ranging from Divisional VPs to support staff in a multi-cultural environment to understand and use information and analysis tools so that they are able to effectively manage State resources. Coordinate with other Financial Management personnel involved in data reporting purposes, i.e., institutional research, budget, academic affairs, facilities, etc. Prepare written proposals. The position may require movement throughout building(s) to a significant degree.
