Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography procedures. Must be able to manage imaging at least 20-25 patients per day. Assist in efficient patient flow and perform a high level of patient service.
  • Responsible for aiding in maintaining weekly QC according to MQSA standards.
  • Provides compassionate care to all patients.
  • Practices open and respectful communication with radiologist, office manager, fellow staff members, and referring physicians.
  • Administers first aid when required and assists physicians in case of acute emergencies.
  • Consistently and accurately completes necessary paperwork while abiding to HIPPA standards.
  • Responsible for proficient and accurate use of computer programs. This is includes, but not limited to image management (PACS), patient information system (RIS), and other database programs.

Qualified candidates will possess:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the A.R.R.T./NMTCB
  • Must be a Registered Mammography Technologist
  • Valid BLS-CPR certification.
  • At least two years of experience in mammography required
  • Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
  • Ability to input data into the computer, and analyze data as requested.
