Are you motivated, hard-working, quality-driven, and ready to make a difference? Apply with us! We are hiring Maintenance Technicians; this position will perform both maintenance and janitor duties.

We are The Holgate Center; located in southeast Portland on Holgate Boulevard across from Kenilworth Park. Our community has been providing a continuum of care for well over 100 years, made up of our Skilled Nursing facility, Retirement Center Facility, and our low-income senior-focused Apartment complex.

At Holgate Center, you will join a driven Maintenance team, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and patients showing care, respect, and enthusiasm.

We’d like to see:

• A positive attitude and maturity to manage time effectively.
• Eye for detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Knowledge on use of tools related to residential building and apartment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year experience of floor/carpet expertise and general building maintenance.
• Ability to assist with all maintenance duties to include minor repairs, electrical, and plumbing.
• Must be physically able to handle machinery used routinely in caring for flooring and carpet; shampooing, waxing, and sweeping/dusting.
• Ability to perform inspections to determine areas needed of improvement.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call
• Weekend availability

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
