Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, trouble-shoot and repair of all equipment in our milk plant – processing, packaging, quality assurance, warehouse, grounds and utility.
Responsibilities and Duties
- All plant personnel have the responsibility to monitor and report any deviations from our Food Safety and Food Quality (HACCP & SQF) programs to their immediate supervisor
- Responsible for repair and maintenance of all production-related equipment – including but not limited to - filling equipment, fork trucks, air compressors, boilers, pump, valves and a variety of other small processing related components
- Diagnose and repair various computerized control systems, including HVAC, WWPT systems and ammonia refrigeration equipment
- Repair and replace faulty bearings, seals and electrical components
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to three years related experience, with fluid processing experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret manuals for equipment maintenance and repair
- High level of reasoning ability to solve practical problems in situations where standardization may not exist. Ability to interpret various forms of instructions
- Knowledge of PM procedures; welding and fabrication skills a plus
- Knowledge of standard repair procedures for industrial equipment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and is a self-starter

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
