Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned

• Repair, alters and overhauls all types of machine tools, special machines, and production equipment
• Diagnoses trouble, tears down, and re-assembles intricate mechanisms and machines
• Checks alignments
• Makes repair parts
• Makes intricate or extensive repairs without the aid of conventional drawings
• Makes suitable sketches and plans for replacing, substituting, or improving machine performance to suit the situation
• Uses common precision measuring instruments and gauges
• Can make determination of best source for repairs, advises the leadership
• Ensures equipment safety features are maintained at all times

Responsibilities:

• Oversees general equipment maintenance and repair
• Oversees building maintenance and functions
• Oversees outsourcing of any of his duties
• Serves as a project manager as needed

Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
