Under the supervision of an FOM Maintenance Supervisor, maintains, inspects and repairs domestic and heating hot water, dishwashers, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical equipment/systems such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, variable frequency drives, fans, air handling units, air compressors, etc. May lead, train and assist Maintenance Helpers. Duties may include minor electrical connections, minor locksmithing, minor carpentry, and fabrication of metal components, changing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes, caulking, painting and wall repair, grounds maintenance and other duties required to achieve the department's mission.
High school diploma or GED required
Three (3) years of experience maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems, residential and commercial heating ventilation and air conditioning systems, and residential appliances, in an apartment building, board and care or similar facility is required
