Maintenance / Facilities Technician (3rd Shift)

The Facilities Mechanic will be responsible for the overall site maintenance and repairs following all cGMPs and all site safety regulations as well as keeping GMP Manufacturing site in a regulatory and safety audit ready state.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee mechanical service calls and in house repairs throughout facility and grounds, and determines necessary repair work
- Monitor work in one or more maintenance trades including electrical, HVAC, refrigeration plumbing and routine equipment repair
- Ability to troubleshoot -20 degree, 2-10 degree and -75 degree refrigeration units
- Act as the interdepartmental liaison between the calibration team and the supported groups, coordinating scheduling issues, resolving calibration-related problems, and providing technical support, as required to all groups internal/external.
- Ensure the safety of the staff and facility is a primary responsibility and adheres to all HS&E procedures.
- Keep track of the all safety equipment in the facility and reports any issues in the systems to the facility manager
- Monitor and operates the Building Maintenance System (BMS)
- Responsible for timely execution and compliance for related PMs; supports department work order system program.
- Ability to lead small projects to completion
- Work on assignments that are extremely complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations
- Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance and oversee the activities of other support personnel

Minimum requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or at least 4 years of proven equivalent experience.
- Strong background in HVAC/ Refrigeration repair
- Low pressure black seal required
- Chiller and DX rooftop units experience
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- At least 4 years of related experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Flexibility to accommodate all shifts
- Must have the ability to work around laboratories, manufacturing areas and equipment, and must be able to regularly lift 10 – 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to get gown qualified to work in a GMP clean room environment
- Ability to work different shift, weekends and overtime will be required. Your shift will be fixed according to business need
- Position will be filled at level commensurate with experience
