Local Manufacturer seeking Machine Operators for Night Shift! We are paying a $1 Shift Differential starting in January 2021!
Job Summary:
Operators for Non-Woven material production line are responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Position requires data entry, machine monitoring, quality control, and strong attention to detail.
Job Details:
- Night Shift - 19:00-07:00
- Full-Time: 36 hr/wk and 48 hr/wk
- 2/2/3 rotation 12-hour shifts
- $15-17/hour, depending on experience PLUS Night Shift Differential
- Differential is $1.00/hour worked, starting in Jan 2021
- Holidays paid double time
- Rotation includes Fri-Sun every other weekend
Job Description:
- Complete Operator Training, assist with updating Operator training and assist with training others
- Maintain a working knowledge of the sequential Control Logic that oversees the operation of the line
- Starting up the machine
- Coordinating and performing housekeeping/rework functions
- Must have good knowledge of computers as job entails data entry reports
- Know quality standards and perform and document quality checks
- Perform routine maintenance procedures
- Perform required steps to complete size and product changeovers
- Perform proper procedure to safely clear jams in all equipment
- Cleanup work area and help others clean their areas if needed
- Perform other related duties as determined by management
- Must be at the workstation at the beginning of the shift
- Must continuously follow all safety policies and procedures on the job
- Plastics production line multistory machine
- Job requires climbing stairs, machine readings, machine maintenance
- Occasionally there may be lifting up to 50 lbs.
Job Requirements:- Attendance is an essential function of the job
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb flights of stairs throughout the shift
- Must be willing to submit to Drug Screen
- Must be willing to submit to Background Check
