PURPOSEThe purpose of the Machine Maintenance Technician I position is to provide production equipment support for all equipment allocated to the factory as well as assist engineering with production related projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESq Adherence to all department work instructions q Repair and maintain all production equipment, both electrical and mechanical q Assist engineering as required with special machine related projects q Work with CNC and PLC controlled machines q Execute all scheduled preventative maintenance of equipment q Ensure respective area is compliant with 5S standards q Maintain daily log of work in established SMC systems

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENTq Physical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle lift or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.q The person is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to hear and talk.q The work environment will expose employee to the following elements: Noise, Heat, Cold, Dust, Oil, Grease and Possible Heights

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSq Experience with preventive and reactive maintenance of powered conveyors q Experience with electrical and mechanical troulbeshooting of powered conveyor systems is required q Experience with computer based maintenance shceduling/tracking software q High school diploma or equivalent q Ability to work well in a team environment q Detail oriented q Ability to effectively communicate q Basic computer skills q Preventative maintenance skills preferred
