General Summary
The Lumber Yard Associate is responsible for assisting customers with lumber and building materials, local deliveries, and forklift operation at our Arnold Ace Hardware store and lumber yard.

Customer Service

• Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
• Continually build product knowledge base and possess the ability to assist customers with purchasing decisions.

Education/Training

High School or GED equivalent.

Experience

No experience required.

Physical Demands

Standing, walking, heavy lifting and climbing ladders.

Availability during open hours, 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday, Saturday 7:00am-6:00pm, Sunday 8:30am-5:30pm
