SCHEDULE: 0.001 FTE (PRN-Per Diem), SHIFT: As Needed POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Occupational Health Nurse provides clinical nursing services in the employee health clinic to hospital employees. These services are provided through a collaborative process, which assesses, plans, implements, coordinates and monitors employee health and safety. Qualifications LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum: California Licensed Vocational License required; Current BLS Preferred: Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum: 1 year experience as an LVN providing clinical care required Preferred: Experience in occupational health, workers compensation management or hospital employment. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum: Graduate of an accredited School of Licensed Vocational Nursing KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, critical thinking ability. Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Applications. Ability to be highly organized and efficient while working independently. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
