- The Licensed Practical Nurses may supervise Nursing Assistants or Technicians assigned to patients under his/her care.
- The Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to the nursing process through data collection, completion of nursing interventions, and input into the plan of care.
- Perform direct patient care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient with a wide variety of medical/surgical conditions.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
- At least 3 yrs LPN experience required
- BLS (issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program that meets the educational requirements for P.N. licensure
- Current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse license to practice in South Carolina
Work Schedule:
- PRN (coverage as needed to work various shifts)
