Crozer Health has part time temporary positions available @ all four of our hospitals. The positions are described below and offer day, evening and night shift hours. Clean Team Member = Members of this team will be stationed at our Springfield Hospital Location for their role. These individuals will work doing deep disinfection of reusable half face mask respirators. The team will be receiving these masks from all four of our hospital sites and will process them centrally at Springfield hospital for redistribution to the larger health system once cleaned and dried. The process will consist of receiving a used mask in an individually packaged plastic bag, removing the mask from the bag, wiping the mask down with disinfecting wipes and removing the mask filters for cleaning. Then the mask will go through a process which this team oversees which will include submerging the mask in a cleaning liquid, then rinsing it with clean running water, next submerging the mask in a bleach mixture, then washing it once more in clean running water, and lastly hanging these masks to dry in our clean/drying room. Once masks are dry, this team will reattach the filters to a mask, place the mask in a new clean plastic bag and place them in the clean mask pick-up area for pick-up by our courier service to bring back to our PPE rooms at our respective hospitals for distribution to our clinical staff for utilization on the hospital floors. PPE Room Distribution & Collection = Members of this team will be stationed at one of our three hospital locations (Crozer Chester Medical Center, Delaware County Memorial Hospital, and Taylor Hospital). These individuals will staff our Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Room at the respective location to which they are assigned. Their role will consist of collecting reusable PPE items (i.e. half face mask respirators) that has been used by an employee during their shift back to the PPE Room at the conclusion of the clinical employee's shift, as well as providing new clean equipment to employees that are starting their shift for use. They will be responsible for logging this equipment in and out of the PPE room, ensuring they always have a sufficient par level of equipment and if they are running low, to ensure that they are escalating thier equipment needs in real time. Additionally, this team will be responsible for calling our courier service for pick-up of dirty equipment to be cleaned when their receptacle box becomes full, as well as receiving incoming clean equipment from the courier company as masks are cleaned and returned to the PPE room to be put back into circulation for clinical staff use. Education and Training: High School Diploma or GED required Experience and Knowledge: 1-year experience in an acute care setting or college diploma. Knowledge of a supply chain system/software preferred.
