Our Warehouse Manager is responsible for the direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations throughout our site. Additionally, our Warehouse Manager will provide oversight of receipt, storage and dispatch of products while ensuring safety, quality and productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running efficiently.
. Requirements:Our Warehouse Manager is responsible for the direct receiving, shipping, warehousing, inventory accuracy and distribution operations for Simpsonville campus. Provides oversight of receipt, storage and dispatch of products, including scrap materials. Ensures safety, quality and productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running efficiently. Manages disposable materials (packages, pallets, empty totes, dumpsters).
Manages all Logistics personnel in compliance with company policies- Receives, stores, and ships all finished goods in compliance with company policies and plant initiatives
- Manages material handling equipment working with maintenance and purchasing to maintain fleet readiness
- Evaluates and enhances space utilization based on SKU volume and count
- Drives continuous improvement through daily management practices
- Ensures all shipments are delivered to the customer on-time, in-full
- Manages inventory practices focusing on inventory accuracy and first-in, first-out principles
- Completes root cause analysis and implements preventative measures for all customer shipping complaints focusing on reduction in quantity and severity
- Ensure all logistics operations follow local, state, and national legislation requirements
- Ensures all internal and external reporting is accurate and match physically and logically
- Liaises with inbound supply chain and internal customer service teams
- Oversees freight purchasing, contracts, and costs
- Manages headcount between cross-functional logistics teams
- Ensures employee training and certification
Manages raw material waste streams (scrap) to FITESA’s environmental standards
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience driving a safety-based culture focused on hazard reduction and prevention
- Customer centric mindset focusing on quality and on-time, in-full shipments
- Experience and enthusiasm to train, motivate, and coach a team of associates and supervisors
- Ability to manage multiple teams and influence peers
- Willingness and ability to learn and perform in other functions in the plant.
- Professional oral, written, and communicative skills
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated familiarity with warehouse operations, preferably with a strong emphasis in manufacturing support
- Previous experience driving continuous improvement: root cause analysis, process improvement,
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Sound statistical and mathematics skills: basic algebra and trend analysis
- Previous experience with warehouse management software and ERP systems
- Firm grasp of cycle counting and inventory control fundamentals
- Light familiarity with automated warehousing operations
