In addition, we offer our expertise in custom modification of products or contract manufacturing to customer specifications.

We are looking for a Logistics Clerk for a temporary assignment. The Logistics Clerk has the responsibility of supporting the Supply Chain Manager in a variety of tasks including documentation, organization, monitoring material transport and delivery timeliness. They will run, verify, review, and reconcile reports and documentation as needed.

Some of the essential duties are:

· Utilizes computers, printers, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and ERP software to complete tasks assigned;

· Notifies Sales personnel of incomplete/inaccurate customer addresses;

· Runs reports using Microsoft Excel or ERP software;

· Troubleshoots problems and communicates issues with management as necessary;

· Adheres to safety regulations and SOPs;

· Communicates with all levels of peers and management;

· Maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods;

· Interact with third-party logistics service providers;

· Audit freight cost and documentation;

· Review bills, invoices and purchase orders;

· Organize files both manually and electronically;

· Coordinate deliveries for repaired or returned items;

· Dispose of unserviceable or damaged items; and

· Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma plus 1-2 years’ experience in Logistics and Procurement environment
  • Diagnostics or Medical Device industry experience a plus.
  • Ability to get along well with people from different backgrounds
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Power point;
  • ERP system experience, a plus;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Fluency in English is required. Bilingual in English/Spanish, a plus.
  • Must have the ability to convey detailed information in English, orally and in writing, and to clearly write routine reports and correspondence;
  • Must be extremely organized with ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
