ASI is seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to work in Orange Park, FL. Logistics Analysts perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Supports program efforts including technical research, coordination of reports, and development of program monitoring systems
  • Provides technical support and/or material assessment
  • Tracks the implementation of required corrective actions and milestone accomplishments and evaluates progress on a continuing basis to determine problem areas and recommend solutions
  • Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information
  • Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems
  • Develops and manages Logistics Product Data (LPD) / Logistic Support Analysis Data (LSA) using SLICwave, PowerLOGJ, Eagle, or other GEIA-STD-0007 Compliant Data managing software suites
  • Works on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance organizations on issues such as:
    • technical evaluation and identification of weapons and support equipment systems logistics requirements and resources
    • development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans
    • life cycle cost analysis and control
    • weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility
    • Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution
    • ILS/R&M program management analysis

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business disciplines or related area
    • High School diploma or GED and five (5) additional years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for degree
  • 6 years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering or Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) with overlapping experience in the following areas:
    • 3 years of recent experience in acquisition logistics/maintenance engineering
    • 3 years of experience in technical analysis of operational ILS requirements
    • 3 years of specific experience in operational logistics planning

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience or education demonstrating ability to perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems/equipment
  • Experience developing and managing Logistics Product Data (LPD) (formerly known as Logistics Support Analysis LSA) or IAW GEIA-STD 0007 (formerly known as MIL-STD 1388-2B & MIL-PRF-49506)
  • Former Navy, Marine Corps, or Air Force experience in Supply and Maintenance
  • Familiarization with Logistics online tools such as Haystack, OneTouch, Deckplate, EMALL, JEDMICS, etc.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be qualified to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to the first day of work except in limited circumstances where an employee is legally entitled to an accommodation
