POSITION SUMMARY:

The Loan Servicing Compliance Auditor will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to, the review and assessment of various loan servicing activities to confirm company policies, procedures, and processes are adhered to. In addition, this position will be accountable to ensure such activities are following all State, Federal, and regulatory guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Examine loan documents to verify loan terms are entered accurately into servicing system
• Review loan terms to determine compliance status with State or Federal statutory guidelines
• Analyze loan servicing functions (Loss Mit, Disputes, Correspondence, Payoff Demands, etc.) to determine compliance status with State and Federal statutory rules
• Scrutinize phone communications and provide unbiased grading based on established internal standards
• Clearly and concisely communicate audit findings to appropriate department members

EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

• High School diploma
• Minimum two years mortgage servicing experience
• Working Knowledge of CFPB, RESPA, TILA and FDCPA
• General understanding and exposure to loan documents
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Outstanding time management skills
• Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Superb organizational skills and superior attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
