LifeLine at IU Health is looking for a Shift Operations Supervisor to help lead their collaborative team!
This position exists to provide on-site supervision and support of LifeLine team members from diverse disciplines. The LifeLine team member serving in this role will have a broad range of responsibilities spanning from support of emergency operations to maintenance of day to day operations during assigned shift to ensure the provision of high quality and safe patient care and transport occurs. Evaluates all aspects of work flow as it relates to customer, patient and team member needs. Expected to be able to support continuity of shift operations including staffing, supplies, and asset allocation.
- Analytical ability to evaluate problem situations in depth and come to an independent and appropriate decision that optimizes safety and patient outcomes.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate workload when necessary.
- Ability to manage, lead and direct a group of diverse people.
- Ability to provide clinical reasoning decision-making and thinking as guided by own scope of practice.

Must hold current licensures, certifications and maintain education requirements as defined within clinical scope of practice to meet requirements of one of the following job descriptions: C1573A-Critical Care Transport RN, Adult-Pediatric, C1573B- Critical Care Transport RN, Neonatal-Pediatric, C626 ? Critical Care Transport Paramedic, C277 ? Clinical Specialist ? Respiratory Critical Care Transport, C1527 ALS Paramedic.
- Active, unrestricted Indiana Driver?s License.
- Requires minimum of 3 years patient transport experience; 2 years? experience within LifeLine preferred.
- EMS Licensure (EMT-B or Above) preferred.
- Licensed within the State of Indiana.
