Position Overview: Reporting to the Memory Care Director, and with oversite by the Director of Campus Programs, the Life Enrichment Coordinator (LEC) for Frank Residences memory care is responsible for helping plan and facilitate a comprehensive therapeutic activities program designed to meet the needs of residents at all stages of memory loss/cognitive impairment, to include group, 1:1 and self-directed activities. The LEC is also responsible for engaging families, volunteers and caregiver staff in the activity program, to the extent possible, to promote positive, therapeutic interactions in the MC milieu. The LEC is responsible for completing all documentation to meet RCFE regulatory requirements, including active participation in developing and implementing resident care-plans. The LEC models best practices for communication and behavioral interventions with persons living with dementia, serving as a role model for caregivers, families, volunteers and visitors.
