We are expanding and hiring an Account Manager in Naples.

Gulf Coast Educators Insurance is a leader in insurance and financial services in Southwest Florida that specializes in working with educators, their families, and the community we serve.

We provide personal and commercial insurance, life insurance, supplemental insurance, long term care, retirement, and other financial solutions for non-educators and educators. Our agents are experts in the insurance industry and help our clients tailor products to their needs.

As an Account Manager you will work with customers assigned to you and provide service on their home and auto policies. Tasks include quoting new business, account inquiries, re-quoting policies with various carriers using a rating system , working with customer service agent on past due accounts reminders, processing CPR's, and other tasks. In addition, this role provides the opportunity to educate clients on multi-line discount opportunities available through our various products to include additional educator discounts available to school district employees.

The role has direct impact on the customer’s satisfaction and experience with our company, products, and services. An essential function of the position will be to maintain a strong relationship with clients. In addition, you will keep detailed records of customer transactions and follow up on customer interactions. This may include responding with empathy during difficult customer situations, while simultaneously entering data on different screens.

This role also involves working in a fast-paced environment which includes balancing workload based on business needs between paperwork and calls. You will be responsible for meeting deadlines and staying up to date with changes. In addition, you will be part of a team, so maintaining an effective working relationship which emphasizes teamwork is essential.

This role may participate in special projects, assume new responsibilities, and adjust priorities as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in insurance
  • 220 or 2044 Insurance license required if you have a 4-40 willing to obtain.
  • 215 preferred or willing to obtain
  • Demonstrated proficiency with basic computer skills including experience moving between multiple computer screens while entering data

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
