Clean & Clear Advantage recovery is seeking for a compassionate and strong Clinical Director of Addiction Medicine to lead the clinical addiction service line through growth and transformation. The leader we seek will be an innovative collaborator able to deliver on the vision to implement a world class addictions program spanning the entire continuum of care. This individual must be able to lead a high functioning multidisciplinary team to maintain and expand a regional position in addiction services. The Clinical Director of Addiction Medicine is responsible for all aspects of care and service line programs from withdrawal management to residential and outpatient care.
The leader will collaborate with the Addiction Medicine team; Therapists, Medical Staff, Nursing staff, and Board in developing and implementing a high-quality program. The Clinical Director has overall responsibility for the clinical care on the addiction treatment units which offer ASAM 3.7, 3.5 and 3.1 services. Clinical Director will work with the addictions team on the development of the addictions program including new areas of expansion and recruitment; manages the departmental functions and goals within the broader rehabilitation center functions and goals; assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures. Clinical activity is expected and encouraged for effective supervision of all clinical staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision in accordance with policies, procedures, and state regulations.
- Development of treatment plans
- Oversee scheduling of medical and clinical staff
- Direct operational supervision of clinical staff
- Monitors and addresses, the day to day clinical aspects/needs of the program
- Monitors and addresses proper and accurate progress notes of all clinical staff
- Collaborate with nursing team and therapist/counseling staff
- Participate with development of policies and procedures
- Oversees clinical aspects of Patient Screening, Assessment, and Admission services
- Ensures compliance of all Individual Treatment Plans
- Ensures compliance of all Discharge Charts and Aftercare Plans
- Ensures implementation of all Program Standards related to clinical aspects of treatment services provided
- Ensures the proper and timely collection of all screenings
- Ensures timely completion and maintenance of clinical aspects of care requirements
- Assists with addressing patient grievances and incidents
- Addresses patient grievances and incidents
- Assist with screening, interview, and hiring of prospective clinical staff.
- Support regulatory surveys and adherence to regulatory guidelines
- Monitors and addresses, where needed, the day to day clinical aspects/needs of the program and address Quality Improvement issues
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters Level Degree (or equivalent) in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and 5 years of experience working in addictions treatment
- Must be licensed as a practitioner to provide treatment, therapeutic advice, or counseling for the rehabilitation of drug-dependent persons in compliance with state practice acts or certified as an addiction counselor.
- Certified in the state of West Virginia with one of the following license(s) is preferred: * LPC * LCSW * LMHC
- Must have at least one (1) year of supervisory and administrative experience in the field of substance abuse treatment
