Under the direction of the associate director, performs administrative work of considerable difficulty by serving in a staff capacity to an executive, administrator, or program manager; and performs related work as required.
Performs specialized administrative work in such areas as licensing, monitoring, customer service, with monthly reporting.
Job Duties:- Performs a variety of complex administrative tasks for an executive, administrator, or program manager including research, special projects, manpower, and operations planning and report preparation
- Interprets and explains organizational rules, regulations, and functions; coordinates activities with other departments, agencies, community organizations, and others; prepares a variety of reports; in conjunction with the Assistant Director or Director
- Issues and assists in the licensing and communication with licensees, certificate holders, and applicants as directed
- Other duties as assigned as related to the position
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):Knowledge:
- The Nurse Practice Act, state and federal rules and regulations governing the area of assignment
- Principles of organization, procedures, and policy development

Selective Preference(s):- Three years responsible administrative experience or a Bachelor's Degree in a field appropriate to the assignment from an accredited college or university and two years responsible administrative experience
Pre-Employment Requirements:Driving Requirements:
- Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.)
- Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment
