Who Are We?AGM Management LLC is an 80-person property management company that operates apartment buildings throughout the United States. We are growing rapidly and need someone organized and flexible, who enjoys working on a diverse array of projects. The position will work full-time out of our Troy, Michigan headquarters. The annual salary will be between $40k-$50k, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:- Secretarial Tasks (50% of workweek):
- Document preparation, file maintenance, scheduling,
- Manage incoming and outgoing email correspondence
- Manage completion of administrative tasks maintained in relational database
Insurance (10% of workweek):
- Run monthly reports to review for expirations
- Contact insurance agent to obtain current certificates
- Advise President of insurance premium increases
- Maintain tracking spreadsheet of operating and maintenance expenses due from commercial tenants and ensure that monthly payments have been received
Property taxes (10% of workweek):
- Run monthly reports to make sure that property tax assessment notices have been received; follow up with assessor’s office if notice has not been received by due date
- Notify President if assessed value has increased
- Maintain tracking spreadsheet of property taxes due from commercial tenants and ensure that monthly payments have been received
Expense reduction analysis (10% of workweek):
- Figure out how much each property pays for common maintenance expenses, including rubbish removal, painting, cleaning, snow plow

Mailing list management (10% of workweek):
- Prepare quarterly mailing to property owners
- Update owner database with the responses
Mail sorting & scanning (10% of workweek):
- Get mail and upload it to its proper folder on the server
- Notify person responsible for acting on mail item and also save it to his/her mail folder
- Other administrative responsibilities such as filing, faxing, scanning, data collection, excel entry and tracking
Requirements:- 5+ years of experience as legal secretary, executive assistant or related
- Bachelor's Degree
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and Accounting a plus
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
