The Department of Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology (EEOB) is seeking to support a strong population of students interested in nursing and allied health careers while maintaining its culture of inclusion and instructional excellence. While the A&P sequence mostly serves majors in other colleges, EEOB serves over 2,000 undergraduate majors earning the Bachelor of Science degree in biology, and over 100 majors in environmental science. Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Anatomy and Physiology faculty position in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology that begins in August 2022. Successful candidates will be expected to establish an inclusive teaching environment where students from diverse backgrounds feel like they belong and can be successful. The primary teaching area is in an human anatomy and physiology course sequence, but other courses may be included as appropriate to pre-allied health and exercise science majors. Other responsibilities include: An earned Masters or Ph.D., or its foreign equivalent, in a biological science or closely related discipline, with coursework relevant to teaching anatomy and physiology is required.
