As a leave specialist, you will be responsible for the full scope of LOA (Leave of Absence), Disability and FMLA case management. You’ll serve as a single point of contact throughout the leave of absence process, providing exceptional customer service to Progressive employees, managers, and the HR community. In addition, you’ll ensure adherence to legal regulations and company policies, make decisions on short-term disability certifications and denials, and secure medical documentation while delivering high quality results.

Must-have qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent or higher
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

Preferred skills

• 3+ years of experience with HR policies/procedures and state and federal specific regulations, including leave of absence case management
• Proven ability to resolve customer, process, and business issues in a proactive and reactive manner
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) demonstrated by effectively working with all levels of an organization
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Compensation

• $48,900 - $65,200/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
