Amazon Robotics' Learning Experience and Technology team is looking for a Learning Experience Designer to join our team. We design and develop technical documentation and learning programs to help our worldwide customers safely and effectively maintain and operate our robotic solutions.

As a Learning Experience Designer you will create new learning experiences and/or rework existing content to new formats to fit necessary learning frameworks and learning tools supporting by our partner organizations. Additionally, through conjunction with our Learning Partners, you will work closely with Subject Matter Experts to build eLearning, virtual, and blended/hands-on learning programs that enhance the learner’s experience and most importantly help improve their job performance and be compliant in regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with our internal Learning Partners, who identify and refine learning needs of our customers, to select appropriate learning instructional methods (eLearning, instructor-led, blended) and applying instructional design theories, practices and methods to deliverables
  • Develop strategies for integrating learning solutions with digital learning methodologies ensuring a smooth blended approach for learners
  • Create relevant blended learning material that supports learner-centric experiences
  • Design and develop e-learning solutions using a combination of media, including text, graphics, animation, audio, video, and interactive content compatible and complied to company platform, to maximize engagement and successfully transfer the instructional message
  • Provide ongoing instructional design and technical expertise for colleagues in the development of web-based projects and online learning opportunities, integrates technology in traditional courses and provides instructional technology support
  • Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or similar field
  • Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, performance improvement, project management, and content-specific certifications as appropriate
  • Able to write effective instructional texts and audio/video scripts
  • Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and monitor learning projects in accordance with appropriate specifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and cordial manner through oral, written, and visual communications with others at all levels in the company
  • Launching and/or using Cornerstone (the LMS) experience
