As a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager, you will be a key component in executing our diversity, equity, and inclusion priorities. Whether through consulting, advising, project management, providing internal/external insights, or driving leaders and team members towards success metrics, you will be a knowledgeable and committed driver of our DEI strategy.

Responsibilities

This DEI Program Manager will primarily help build and execute our diversity learning and development strategy . They may also be asked to:

  • Build bold, creative diversity training roadmap that mobilize team members around diversity goals and connects to our business goals.
  • Consistently display DEI as a critically interwoven discipline within all functions, as opposed to, a stand alone, add-on concept.
  • Work collaboratively with the Employee Experience team to facilitate learning curriculum and instructional transformation that advances diversity and inclusion.
  • Develop and deepen strategic relationships with our Target, Inc. partners to advance diversity and equity to promote an inclusive climate.
  • Develop meaningful and appropriate metrics to measure success and gauge effectiveness of DEI initiatives.
  • Work closely with colleagues to recruit and retain members, partners, and customers from diverse populations by creating pilot initiatives, building collaborative relationships, helping to adopt national best practices, collecting and analyzing data, and developing communications and messaging.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate training and/or work in human resources or diversity & inclusion
  • Strong program and project management skills; ability to operationalize and scale programs
  • Proven track record or critical thinking; ability to leverage data and insights to influence and develop/track solutions
  • Great collaboration skills to partner with broad cross-functional teams; proven abilities to execute multiple tasks simultaneously with quality results
  • Flexibility, resiliency and nimbleness; comfortable working in “grey areas”
